Maths Circuit

Students were in teams of two or three and had a circuit of mathematical problems set up around the classroom to solve. These activities were based on the major units of work covered in mathematics this year in measurement, geometry, chance and data, and number. They did extremely well as many of these tasks were very challenging. I like the teamwork they showed and their level of perseverance.

Fraction Snowmen

This was a fun way of doing equivalent fractions. The students also learned how to construct circles using a compass and how to use a protractor to divide up their circles evenly.
